“Absolutely loved this place and would recommend it to anyone who wants to feel close to nature while staying in La Fortuna. Our bungalow was spacious and cute and we could hear the amazing sounds of the cicadas, frogs, and occasional howler monkeys throughout the night and birds in the morning. We loved how quiet the property was, the jacuzzi, and all the wildlife around our bungalow. “The view and the owner/hostess made our stay! The personal attention at breakfast was delightful. This feels more like renting a villa with a morning chef than like a hotel. There are a couple good restaurants at the bottom of the hill for dinner. The drive to La Fortuna is 30 minutes. Be aware there is no air conditioning. There are windows with screens on 3 sides of the villa so the breeze is nice. In the morning you’ll hear a beautiful symphony of birds. I would stay here again.”
