"The breakfast was great even though we thought it was a bit expensive, but the options and the quality at the end made up for it. Great room views and they were kept clean and tidy."

"Centrally located. Four floors total. We got a nice view of the water facing the lake. Staff was extremely helpful and they go out of their way to help. Tip: get WeChat App and add the hotel contact and communicate with the language of your choice (ours: English). Breakfast was good but they don’t know how to make omelets which was disappointing! All in all great experience. Hotel manager: ask your chef to learn to make omelets."

"Good stay overall. Not exactly a 5 star experience but still one of the nicer hotels in the area. Reception is messy, coffee was not included in the breakfast, flimsy toilets (bidet that is not intuitive), very hot in the breakfast area during our stay (AC was not on). However, the room was spacious, comfortable and with a nice view."

"Sugarhouse is the perfect platform to explore Yangshuo and the surrounding area. It is not city center but a sanctuary after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. Went with family and the pool was amazing. We spent hours there meeting new people and enjoying the views."

"Wonderful stay. As seen in photos. Shower had very good water pressure and hot. Hotel staff helpful. Free use of moped and laundry. Paid Chinese massage was excellent and I would recommend."

"The hotel was close to shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was family- friendly too. There was a pedestrian street close to the hotel and lots of street food. We recommend it. And also was available for free."
