“Lovely place, just be aware there are a lot of stairs, if you have knees problems or any challenge with stairs, this can become a problem.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at the beautiful Villa Estrella Polar. It is clean, quiet and in a fantastic location to explore the island. The pool was lovely. We cannot comment on the breakfast as we did not order it. However it sounds delicious. You will enjoy chatting with the owners. They have an inspiring story to tell. I highly recommend this beautiful piece of paradise. ”

“Cannot recommend Blue Marina suites too highly. The location is excellent overlooking the sea front but still very quiet. It is close to many good restaurants and the facilities in the apartment are very good. It is spotlessly clean We stayed for one week and would love to visit again.”

“First of all, the hotel is beautiful. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you leave the rest of the world outside. If you’re looking for a quiet place, this is the right hotel. Now the restaurant, every day you wake up with a great breakfast that will keep you going for the rest of the day. And the dining experience is hard to forget. The staff is very nice and friendly. I will be definitely going back!”

“It was really beautiful and well equipped accomodation including kitchenettes, a bath tub and a shower booth. Despite the bath tub was broken but the terrace and beds were clean so that we were pleased during the stay.”

“We stayed in room 220 on 1st floor. About 15 steps to room. (In 3 sections). No lifts. I have walking difficulties but steps we ok. Room clean & basic. Large corner balcony overlooking the sea. Air con in lounge. On arrival Maria had left key's & instructions for us, easy! Pool area nice, clean & peaceful. Other than breakfast option which we didn't use. There is no food or drink service on site. But supermarket outside was very good for supplies. For someone with walking issue……

“Very friendly welcome and assistance from the concierge. The room was very clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast had many options including a few for vegans, with a lovely view over the sea. ”

“Gorgeous view right on the beach. Good sized balcony. Spacious twin room. Nice, plentiful cooked and continental breakfast. Lots of restaurants and shops just steps away from the hotel. Staff were lovely and very helpful. ”

Hostal San Gines gets an A+++ for diligent Heath&Safety standards, fire escapes and smoke detection well maintained, rooms in spotless Hygiene condition. Bright and cheerful surroundings are welcoming. The staff are to be commented for their care and diligence performed in a kindly manner. ”

“Lovely clean hotel, staff friendly, lovely roof top pool area with bar, that does snacks, ask at reception for towel to use at pool. Great location main bus depo 8mins walk. Bus from Arrecife airport 10mins to depo. and €1.40. Stayed half board, very happy with choice for food, food was good. LargeTV with access to netflix. Gym on roof top as well, didnt use. Open mall 25mins walk away.”

“I enjoyed a 5 night break at Sands. A little apprehensive due to several negative reviews however my experience was very positive. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need including full fridge freezer and dishwasher. The entire complex is very clean and is thoughtfully laid out. I enjoyed the lane swimming and the surrounding area is perfect for running. I also used the gym several times. Shops and restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk. A shout out to all the staff, you……

“Great place, just three complains. The slow and un-syncronized elevators can really become annoying, The 17th floor is a missed opportunity for a nice place for drinks and music, instead it is like a cafeteria that has alcoholic drinks. The AC maintains the rooms very cold even in winter, that can be uncofortable for some people like me.”
