"Tucked away behind a volcano and in a quiet residential area of Tinajo, we found this place to be a comfortable stay with everything we needed. The host lives next door and was welcoming and accommodating, providing toys for our children to play with and extra tools for the barbecue when we enquired. We’ll be back next time we’re on the island."

"The ideal property if after a day exploring you want to get back to peace and calm - to enjoy a drink and maybe a swim or just to lie back and sunbathe. The house is well equipped with great outdoor area. A car is essential and although set just above Tias everywhere is very accessible. There is so much to see and do you can choose whatever you want. The roads are good. A lovely villa but it is set away for the main resorts - great for families."

"Instructions to enter Villa were clear. It was clean with towels & tea towels & a pleasant little basket of goodies. All kitchen equipment you will need. Microwave, coffee machine & washing machine (if required). Books & DVD’s. Comfy bed with decent bedding. Good quality outside patio seating with much needed umbrella. Wi-fi was easy to connect to. One very small gripe, could do with a further mid size towel per person. Overall, very happy 😊"

The villa was immaculate and the cleaner who came mid week was brilliant. It is in a great location for exploring the strip and to walk down to Matagorda . We had a lovely time."

It was good to see that there was lots of condiments and left over stuff in the cupboard (olive oil/pasta/spices/flour etc as the majority of villas throw everything away..) "Having visited Lanzarote since 2010, I can honestly say that Casa Jamie is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in. It has fantastic outside space with several different areas for chasing or avoiding the sun should you wish. There are also several areas for outside dining and the pool is the perfect size for 2 or 4 people. "Had a 7 day stay in Jose’s lovely house in Jan 24. Good location only 5 min walk to main strip. Slight uphill walk on way home but easily managed. Well equipped with plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces. Definitely not suitable for anyone with limited mobility as there was a high step into the property and the upside down layout meant that the huge living space was up stairs. There is a small supermarket nearby. The property could do with a little TLC as some of the rooms were showing minimal...

"This is not my first stay at this villa, it’s so private and secluded yet so central to the new town and the old town. Pool is always spotless and the villa itself is sparkling. Full satellite tv uk and Ireland I was able to watch the Gaelic football on an Irish channel! So was delighted with that! Couldn’t recommend it enough. 10 out of 10."
