Radisson Beachfront Hotel - Panama City Beach

2/10 Terrible

"What was advertised online was not what we experienced in person. This felt more like a rundown motel than a hotel. When we checked in on Monday, the TV didn't work, there was no phone in the room, no hair dryer, the iron didn't work, and for a suite we only had one plate and one glass. The towels and washcloths looked old and dingy. We reported the issues immediately, but it took until Wednesday night and multiple request before they finally replaced the TV and provided a phone, plate, and hair dryer. The property advertises free Wi-Fi, but it never worked. We had to use our hotspot from Monday - Thursday. After it rained, water came underneath the door, and the exterior door was difficult to open and close. The most concerning issue was security. The front desk gave another guest a key to our room without verifying her identity. She wasn't locked out of her room. She had simply gone to the wrong room. A stranger should never be given access to another guest's room. On checkout day, I had an important Zoom meeting and requested a late checkout. With everything we experienced, I thought this was a reasonable request. It was denied. We're Expedia Platinum members and travel frequently, and this was one of the most disappointing experiences we've had. Don't let the online photos fool you. The rooms are exterior-entry like a motel, and the property looks much better online than it does in person. I would not stay here again or recommend it to others."

Bourbon Orleans Hotel

"Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! We had the most delightful and memorable time at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel. From the moment we walked in, the absolutely stunning lobby took our breath away and made us feel so warmly welcomed. Those soaring ceilings, sparkling chandeliers, grand columns, and elegant furnishings wrapped us in classic New Orleans charm and luxury right from the start. The staff at check-in and check-out were truly fantastic. They were so kind, helpful, and went out of their way by holding our bags while I quickly ran around the corner for a couple of last-minute items while waiting for the valet. It made us feel so cared for and relaxed. Our room with the beautiful balcony overlooking Bourbon Street was an absolute highlight. We loved stepping out to enjoy the lively views and vibrant energy, especially during those magical evening moments. The location could not have been more perfect. After fun nights out on Bourbon Street, it was such a joy to simply walk back, step onto our balcony, and unwind with the city still alive around us. Every detail felt so thoughtfully put together, and the perfect mix of historic charm and comfort made our stay extra special. We truly loved every minute and would happily return again and again. You have created such a warm, special place right in the heart of the French Quarter. Thanks again for everything! Warmly, Damien"

Margaritaville Resort Biloxi

"We were hesitant to stay here again because our previous experience was disappointing. However, due to the timing of our trip and the affordability of the hotel, it was our best option. We’re glad we gave it another chance. This stay was a significant improvement from our last visit. Aside from the weather, everything was wonderful. Even with the less-than-ideal conditions, the pool and arcade provided plenty of entertainment for the kids, and our room was much better than the one we had previously. Overall, we had a great experience and are happy we decided to return."

"What a lovely place to stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It was our 40th wedding anniversary and unbeknown to us, our daughter contacted the hotel to let them know. They had left a bottle of wine with a red heart balloon attached and a lovely card in our room. It was such a sweet and kind gesture. The room was immaculate and spacious and well set out; you could tell a lot of thought had gone into it all. There is plenty of facilities too, including 2 pools and outside games for all the family. There’s even a Starbucks on site as well as bars and eateries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. The free shuttle to and from old town key west is a brilliant idea and we certainly made use of that. Thank you everyone at Blue Flamingo Resort"

Palmetto Beachfront Hotel, a By the Sea Resort

6/10 Okay

"The air wouldn’t stay on so the room got warm pretty fast, therefore sleeping was uncomfortable. There were a few random critters in the room. One was a spider crawling on me the first night we arrived. I was headed to bed so that was alarming. Overall the view was beautiful and the stay was ok! We had a good time overall."
