First family vacation!

Just what we were looking for!

My friend and I brought our children for a quick relaxing weekend with our kids. Location was great as we were just a few steps from the beach! Great views from the balcony. Living and dining area were great for the kids! Plenty of space for parking. The beach house was very clean. The host was a great communicator as well! We had a great time!

Family Spring Break Trip

This is a beautiful, spacious house. Don’t be worried about the “Black Pearl” house obstructing your view of the beach at all, because it doesn’t! You’ve pretty much got beachfront property without paying beachfront rental price. We will definitely rent this house again. There was only four of us, but this could definitely hold a larger family. From the large kitchen to the large den with two couches and multiple chairs. Great house for family memories to be made. Wonderful experience all around!

Ocean front paradise

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Sit and Walk property. We absolutely love it! We love everything about it. It’s pretty much beachfront, spacious with an open floor concept, an outstanding front deck to sit and watch the ocean views. The huge living space is a plus and the seating is great. We will definitely be repeat customers for life. Once we found out about “the black pearl” property that was built in front we were concerned about the views being obstructed, but they weren’t. We were so blessed. We love being able to just relax on vacation in a quiet semi private beach area of Fort Morgan.

Perfect Family Getaway

Perfect location! Literally steps to the beach- it couldn’t have been better. We had four adults and two kids on this trip and the house was super comfortable for everyone. Loved all the comfy seating in the living room and the roomy dining table in the kitchen. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were spacious. The inside of the home was very clean. Outside there is some minor cleanup that needs done (cans in the sand and some old towels laying around). But that was no big deal. Outdoor shower was very convenient. This was our third year in a row staying in Fort Morgan and this house was probably the most comfortable overall that we’ve stayed in just because of the spacious layout and close proximity to the beach. Planning to return!

Great family getaway!

This was just what we needed! Family of 3 and we had tons of space. The kitchen and living floor plan is very spacious. Some people mention the house in front, blocking the view......dont let that fool you. The view is still great! This house is at the end of a dead end street with beach access footsteps from the door! We did not any beach accessories because we brought everthing we wanted, but just in case you are looking for that at the house, there is no outdoor storage for Jody to provide that. There were some chairs on the front porch, but we we are the family who opens our eyes and gets to the beach! I would book this house again for my family, for a girl's trip, or even with another couple or two!

We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed here with our three kids and our friends and their kids. We filled the house to max occupancy but never felt crowded. The home is spacious and most importantly only steps from the beach! I lived barefoot and in a bathing suit almost the entire trip! Home has a hose by the back door so it made cleaning beach sand off easy. The house was clean for the most part, I wiped down some surfaces that were dusty or had cup rings but I’m really picky about cleanliness. Walls and doors could use a good wipe down. It was minimal enough that it didn’t seriously bother me. It is an older home so the bathrooms are old and showing wear but the water pressure is so amazing you forget the tub surround isn’t pretty haha! We showered two at a time and the pressure didn’t change. I could happily stay here every year. Some had mentioned that there is a house blocking the ocean view and I didn’t have a problem with it at all. It’s on higher ground and you could see under the house to the ocean and from the porch you had a view of the ocean still. But I also didn’t spend a lot of time in the house or on the front porch. I spent the majority of my time on the beach!

BIG BLACK BOX

Disappointed that a huge black box shaped house was being constructed in front of “Sit and Walk.” This ugly structure was blocking ocean view. It was not in the picture on line of the beach house.

Wonderful relaxing beach vacation right on the beach!

We had a total of 4 adults and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beach house was warm and inviting. While there is a home being built directly in front of this one, it is tall enough to allow you to still see the ocean and beach. We literally walked out the door down the drive, took a right and stepped on the sandy beach. The beach was not crowded at all and we stayed over the July 4 holiday. We cooked all but two of the 7 nights we stayed and enjoyed the spacious kitchen and living area. We were not disappointed one bit. Looking forward to booking for next year!
