Great location

Very Clean, beautiful view of the beach and pool area. Very convenient walk to the beach and they even have a restaurant for food and drinks if you didn’t want to leave. Over all we had a really great stay and we will be back!

Perfect getaway

The unit is near front of building which makes getting to the room with your things very easy. Great view. You don’t hear noise since it’s second story. We love love love the privacy at Ft. Morgan!!!!

Cute room

Very cute for a short stay. On the beach, very quiet, secure and felt safe. The only problem was we saw 2 roaches in the room and finding our room was very confusing.

Needs some improvement but okay for the price

The screen was ripped and we tried to contact someone, which took over 30 minutes and then couldn’t understand the person even though the number said they were local. The representative confirmed they were not local. The kitchen does not have enough cooking pans and the ones they have are not in good condition. Very limited cooking utensils. The view from the unit was beautiful and we loved the balcony. The unit was decorated nicely.

Good place to stay

You are right on the beach. Only thing I found was very out dated furniture, the vertical blinds broke each time you touched them so you couldn’t close them except in the master bedroom. You couldn’t open them.

Never again use Vacasa. 😩😩😩😩😩

Have already responded to this email. Our rental was not as what we were told. Nothing but problems but no help from Vacasa. They couldn’t have cared less what we went through. I could never refer anyone to Vacasa. We read your reviews which were poor. Should have paid attention to them.

Game of telephone

The property was a bit dated. That was expected from the photos. When we went to set up the pull out bed it was covered with food from people sitting on the couch and it not being cleaned. We cleaned it as best we could. The company sent me a message about how was the cleaning. I responded with the state that the pullout sofa bed was left in and that we cleaned it. They then messaged me saying they would send somebody to clean it. I told them no and to make sure they clean it for the next person. We went out the next day to an aquarium. When we got home later that day I saw that someone had gone in our room. I was furious. I told them I didn’t want anyone in my room especially without my consent. They then told me that someone called me. I had one missed call from California. I told them that and also said even if they did call I didn’t get it so there is no way I gave them permission to go in my rental. Also the laundry room and game room were under construction. The quiet time was from 10pm-7am. They were doing construction in the unit above our bedroom and would start drilling at 7:50am 2 of the 4 days we were there. They didn’t work over the weekend. It was all and all a pretty terrible experience. I’m on vacation and don’t want to wake up before 8 am. I do have pictures and videos of everything in case they try and say that what I’m saying is not true.

Loud and dirty

The room was sticky and sandy when we arrived. There are no basic amenities like proper cookware or a hair dryer. There is no washer and dryer in the unit. The master bedroom is directly next to the hall, with a door that opens to the hall of the building, so it is very very noisy.

Very basic - outdated

This complex is amazing! Our unit #5216 needed some TLC. It was obvious it was just a place - not a home. We checked out and extended our vacation and booked another unit on the 5th floor. #5510 which was what we were expecting. When we were in #5216 there were smokers the floor under us so we could NEVER sit outside without smelling cigarette smoke. 😩

Family Favorite

My kids and I stayed for a summer beach getaway. They loved every moment. The room was very well kept and plenty of cooking items were available for use. The dishwasher was broken but my oldest had that taken care of for his chore. Easy access to the beach as well. Talk about amazing beach views. It was a wonderful time.

Needs updating

This was my third visit to Plantation Dunes. I ha e always enjoyed my stay and will come again. However, this particular unit was not as well kept as the others I had stayed in. The mattress in the master bedroom is very old and has a bad spot that sinks in and the kitchen cupboards need to be painted or new faces put on. Vacasa was excellent to work with; they made the whole checking in/out process very user friendly.
