The owners, Lulu and Clive were so hospitable and you could tell the attention to detail from the unique, eclectic lobby to the courtyard with swimming pool. Out room was equally stunning. “Malta is an exotic place for me. The hotel is located very near the airport, with about 15 minutes of walk. A taxi ride would be only 5 minutes. But directions are not clear and almost all the buildings were closed and looked all the same so it was rather difficult to find the place. The young attendant at the front desk was kind and polite. But his duty hours were between 6am and 3pm only. That means any one arriving after 3pm needs to follow the clues left on the door to open the gate and……

“This was super close to the airport. Took 12 min walk. Weirdly, the room is full of ants especially in the toilet and perhaps some flying ants as noticed a few in the bed. I have to admit, I had a few bites. The postcode to get to the apartment was tricky as was not on Google map. So had to stop the taxi and walk around to find the right place It would be great if the owner provide a telephone number for these sort of emergencies.”
