“There was a landslide on the only road into Skagway , it was blocked could not get in . Called the hotel after we finally found a number left a message with the owner, emailed the owner several times never got a phone call back never got a email back but got charged for our two nights, heard from several other people staying at other hotels in town all of them got calls from hotel staff informing them of the landslide and worked with them on thier reservations, I would highly recommend staying……

“Room was fine! The only complaint I have is occasionally the hall and the rooms smelled like marijuana which was really repulsive. There were multiple night we stayed elsewhere because the smell was so bad. The room was fairly clean and did its job when we did stay there. I highly encourage the property to do something about the marijuana being smoked in and near the hotel.”

“Pros:Beautiful room. High ceilings. Furniture high quality. Refrigerator.Location very convenient..Breakfast ok but times very limited, 07-08 am. Cons: All rooms require going up 25 steep steps. No cups in the room. No hand towel holders. Room too warm and stuffy due to overhead sunken lights.”

“Great place to stay while in Skagway. Easy walk to town from the house. Helps family or those with 3 or more people save money by eating meals in the rental house instead of going out for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Would and will stay here again when returning to Skagway.”
