A very unique artsy hotel. Had a fantastic stay there. The staff were all so kind and helpful. We got a complimentary upgrade to the Suite Room with a full kitchen. Location is perfect, the Commonwealth restaurant and the roof top bar were amazing. Good food, great drinks and amazing views of the city from the bar. Definitely staying here again.

I like the hotel but for the price that I paid the breakfast was terrible Frozen food and no cooked food Very disappointing for expensive hotel not to offer warm breakfast The next night we switched the hotel with holiday express because they offer good cooked breakfast

Rooms were spacious and very clean.

Our room was ok, shade was broken, some pretty bad stains on the carpet that may have been spilled food or possibly vomit. Tub/shower was dingy. Definitely in need of a remodel. Rooms are cleaned every other day which is not what we would expect but seems to be a theme since Covid. I had to ask twice for basics such as clean towels and coffee supplies. When housekeeping finally came after the second request they were very accommodating. Nice location though, plenty of nice restaurants nearby.

The Cheshire is an interesting, unique property, but ( with a couple of notable exceptions), I was astounded by the unfriendliness of the staff, especially at the front desk and in the hotel bar. C'mon, guys, St Louis, Missouri is supposed to be nicer, more hospitable state than, say, where I hail from!
