We arrived at around 8pm but there was nobody at the desk and we waited for around 30 minutes before he arrived..The desk staff upon our check in was not welcoming and was rude. He was not smiling and seemed irritated. Then He was accusing us of deliberately adding work for him when we wanted some more bottled water and extra blanket. He told us to go back to our country, which was sort of being racist. There was a commotion actually.
There was no elevator which we overlooked since it was only 2 floors.. But then there was no assistance for us to look for other room in the first floor when in fact we had a 98years old mother in the wheelchair. And that staff at the desk mentioned that there was in fact 1 available room in the first floor but he said that he could not change our reservation since it was done thru a 3rd party. We still stayed since there was no more vacancies in other hotels. So we carried our mother up and down the stairs and the wheelchair.
We paid around $2000 for 2 rooms for 4 nights. The hotel is Comfort Inn but it could have lived up to its name.
