Parking is easy and plentiful. The complementary breakfast was sufficient. The staff was helpful. I simply believe the property can use some love/investment...The toilets are old and running. One of our two full-sized beds were made with blood stained sheets (I wish I had taken a picture before having the items replaced). The space feels dated and dark. The rooms are hallow in feel (dim, cold and non-insulated against external noise/sounds). An on-site gym is advertised, yet not in operation. Oddly enough, the organization takes the liberty to advertise a gym because a third party gym happens to be accessible somewhere in the area... truly misleading. I am scheduled to be back in Brantford in approximately two weeks, however, I will not be looking to the Days Inn for my accommodations.

Sticky floors. The beds were decent, but the room had a musty, old smell. It worked for a last-minute stay—nothing great, but not terrible either.

My stay at Days Inn by Wyndham Brantford was okay definitely reflective of the cost per night. The hotel itself is quite run down and outdated. The rooms feel worn, and the beds were noticeably lumpy and uncomfortable. Bright side there was a microwave which now is a novelty in hotels. What really left a negative impression, though, was what happened after I had already returned home. I received a call informing me that I was being charged $15 for a hand towel due to a makeup stain. I was honestly shocked by this. I’ve stayed at many hotels over the years and have never once been charged for something like that, as makeup on towels is a very normal and expected occurrence. I was also told they spent “all day” trying to remove the stain, which didn’t make much sense to me. With proper cleaning methods, makeup typically comes out of white towels without much issue, especially in a hotel setting with commercial laundry. There was no policy communicated during my stay about being charged for something like this, so receiving that call after the fact felt unexpected and unreasonable. It gave the impression that guests are being charged for normal wear and tear rather than actual damage. Between the outdated condition of the hotel, the uncomfortable beds, and the unexpected charge, the overall experience was not a positive one.

My room was adjacent to the parking lot on the main level. The blinds were on a short track and would not close so I was able to see (and hear) any activity in the parking lot. I did not feel I had adequate privacy. My bed could have been more comfortable, but I did get a fairly decent night's sleep.

I had booked and paid for a hotel here on Expedia and arrived provided my credit card for the deposit along with my ID under the same name that was scheduled for the hotel I received so much grief from the guy at the front desk it felt like an honest interrogation asking if I was staying the whole night with my partner then I had mentioned that I would be going out for a bit and returning and he basically denied giving us our room. Unfortunately I believe the gentleman at the front desk was possibly judging us by the way we had looked as we were both extremely tired and not dressed the greatest beyond that fact we were both customers paying for a hotel room and should have been provided the hotel room without questioning. Because of this I will never use a hotel under this chain again I have never had an issue like this before and have stayed at multiple hotels with my partner or our family thankfully Expedia refunded the hotel because it was under a non-refundable status but the gentleman at the front desk wouldn't even give me the key it was honestly a ridiculous and disappointing moment. I hope this hotel really considers replacing the employee that acted out in this manner.
