The opportunities are that an air conditioning unit in the second bedroom would help, there were ants but that's what happens in these kinds of places, the pillows on the beds were not comfortable, the bathroom is very small and the hot water tank is good for about 1 and 1/2 showers before it goes cold. But everything thing else was awesome!! It is an ideal location for a base camp to hike many sections of the AT. We use Boots Off Hostel less than a mile down the road to shuttle us to and from various trail heads.The host is very quick to answer questions. The outside porches are wonderful for relaxing. Watauga lake is just down the road and there are several attractions near by if you want to do other activities. ##### sherry B. The location of the cabin is great for accessing several trail heads. Just down the road from Boots Off Hostel who we used for our shuttles to the trails. (Great Service)The cabin was perfect. Very clean. Great outside deck areas. Cabin had everything we needed. Nicely decorated and very comfortable. The host was quick to respond to our questions.
