Hotel Taha Tai is right on the beach in Hanga Roa Rapa Nui and an easy walk to the town centre and harbour. Carlos and all the staff are very helpful and the beachfront restaurant for breakfast was a highlight

Location was excellent. The mini-split AC kept the temp right where I liked it. The bungalow was very clean, and had a fridge and a nice size TV that I used to review photos that I had taken (I brought a 10 ft HDMI cable). Check in and cleaning staff was excellent. The free filtered water in the lobby was very nice and was used by our whole group of 3 couples. Free breakfast was also very good. Eggs cooked to your liking (just ask) plus the normal buffet options. I especially enjoyed the soup as I was getting over a cold. Would be nice if they included omelets for free, but you can order them at a cost if you have to have one. Had a beautiful 3 night stay. Restaurant seating has a beautiful view of the ocean. Walking distance to many real Moai and also beautiful artwork such as sculptures along the road next to the ocean. Easy walking distance to grocery stores and all of downtown.

I stayed in a bungalow and it was steps from the restaurant with ocean views. Behind the restaurant was access to the main road that was a 10-15 minute walk to the middle of the town. Staff was very friendly and the property was beautiful.

This is a very nice property. Before you think it’s on the pricey side, be advised that you’re not going to find any Ritz Carlton or Mandarin Oriental hotels on Easter Island. The Taha Thai is probably one of the top two or three hotels on the island, and the other two are very very expensive. This is an amazing property, and the restaurant is top-notch.

I had a wonderful time at the TAHA Tai hotel. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about things to do. The hotel has a beautiful landscape and amazing restaurant facing the ocean.

Taha Tai is within walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets and downtown area. Continental breakfast at the hotel restaurants is right by the ocean with a great view of the blue waters of the pacific. The additional benefit of staying at Taha Tai is that they can arrange tours for you and you are picked up at the hotel.
