“The Staff! Out all the 64 countries I’ve visited and all the hotels, this place had the kindest, most helpful, down to earth staff I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. I honestly considered them friends when I left. One even did a portrait of my cat!
The Breakfast!
This was carefully curated and better than most 5 star hotels could do. If we ever had to stay somewhere else because they were booked we would still go there for the breakfast. It had that home cooked vibe for sure.

“Check-in was terrible. They forgot to send the instructions via WhatsApp, and my friends weren’t sure if it was a scam or not. They ended up walking around for an hour without internet. Eventually, they were able to contact the host with help from someone who had a nearby store, and she called the host for them. It was really frustrating for my friends.”

“Die Hotellage hätte nicht besser sein können. Der Platz der Republik direkt um die Ecke. Das Frühstück war wunderbar und sehr abwechslungsreich. Hervorzuheben ist das stets hilfsbereite Personal. Besonders möchten wir uns bei Goar bedanken, die uns mit ihren frisch zubereiteten Eiergerichten verwöhnte und sogar dafür sorgte, dass wir am Abreisetag in den Lunchpaketen das bekommen haben, was wir uns gewünscht haben.
