On check-in the desk clerk tried to serve me while on personal phone call, I had to put a stop to that so could the taken care properly. 1st room assigned had rust around bathtub drain, paint and plaster chipped off the wall near bathtub and TV didn't work correctly. Since I traveled from Europe that day, I wait until morning to resolve the problems. In morning I got a new room that was acceptable, but later I started noticing thing around the hotel that were unacceptable during my stay. Hallway not vacuumed daily, Fitness Rm was dirty (used coffee cups, old banana peels, food scrapes, trash can full) for days, trash cans inside and outside the hotel overflowing and not emptied daily), Parking was ok, but saw at least 4 cars in the parking lot that appeared to be abandoned (dirty, damaged and no license plates). Spoke to the desk clerk about these issues and action was taken that day to resolve them. Only thing not resolved was the cars remained during my entire stay. Although most of the furniture and door frames are chipped and carpet stained and wrinkled I wouldn’t consider that an issue since this is a older hotel and expected for the price. Breakfast was ok and typical. Can’t comment on how well they cleared the rooms daily since I put a don’t disturb tag on my door. Since my 2nd room was acceptable when I checked in, I would assume it would have been kept up. For the price I guess you can't except much better, but differently on the lower end of acceptable.
