"Everything was very well taken care of except the pool building which was an awful first impression of the property since it is the first thing you see upon arrival. Rotten and decaying siding and what isn’t is In need of repainting. A sharp contrast to the rest of the buildings and grounds which were beautiful."
"I visit Springfield at least once a year, this is my second stay at the hartness house, I’ve stayed in the mansion and in the hotel, I have been very happy with both options. The mansion is stunning and enjoying a coffee and pastry in the mansion in the morning is lovely. I’m glad to see this historic building being taken care of so thoughtfully. "

"Everything was perfect. The house was clean and spacious. The indoor playroom was clutch and the river out back was really nice to have close. There is plenty to do locally and there are lots of places to eat and play. We love coming to VT to visit family and this is the first time we’ve rented. We hope to return to this place in the future. The host was very responsive and helpful when called upon. "
