"This was an amazing space to stay in for our visit to the big island! The home was immaculately clean, had everything we needed to be comfortable (including a washer & dryer), and afforded incredible views of the ocean (just steps away). The location is convenient for those based around Hilo and the neighbohood is quiet & walkable. We appreciated Liz's responsive communication prior to arriving and the ease checking in & out. "Sue is an excellent host. She went above and beyond in communicating with us and making it so enjoyable. The cottage was exceptional! She provided everything we needed and more. It was so quiet. "Great family getaway. We enjoyed traveling into Hilo to snorkel, hike the caves, and visit Rainbow falls. We stayed for a week and a half and drove every main highway and stopped at all the state parks. The home was the calm between all the activities. We walk the neighborhood and went down to the park to look and hike around the ocean cliffs. We played cards and cooked together. The locals we ran into were very helpful on where to visit and the best food."

"When we arrived, the kids first comment was "this place is really nice." We found that to be the case for our entire stay. We agree with the host, the covered lanai was our favorite room and we enjoyed eating there. We also enjoyed the large kitchen table that allowed us to work on puzzles during our free time."
