Everything was clean and relaxing from the long driveway buffering a quiet neighborhood road to the upstairs suite with lanai overlooking a back jungle. "We had a lovely stay. The house was clean and had every amenity we needed. We loved the neighborhood. Our friends lived just down the road so we went back and forth quite a bit. Hope to go back and do it all over again. The Coqui were loud at first but soon we got use to them and we became quite found of their singing. It is a tropical paradise for sure."

"When I booked this house, I knew it was in the middle of the Hawaiian jungle rainforest and was excited to experience that with my family. I found the driveway and house address easily even though it was raining hard and after dark. When we parked in front of the unit and opened the doors of our rental car, we were overwhelmed by the night jungle sounds. It was a moment my family will not forgot. My 12-year-old daughter and 15-year-old son were visibly nervous and slept in the same room that night with a light on. When we woke in the morning, we were surrounded by an amazing jungle full of life and bright Hawaiian sun. We all fell in love with the place. My daughter asked to sleep in the outdoor veranda. Peeper frogs, morning rooster calls, and a super friendly cat that loves to cuddle. (We named her Tiki). Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your jungle home. "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Spacious & Modern Pāhoa Retreat Near Kehena Beach! Our group ranged in age from 87 to 96, with one 44-year-old, and this home was perfect for everyone. While it has two levels, the layout was spacious and beautifully designed, making it comfortable and easy to navigate.The colors and design made everyone feel very special—like it was a real treat to be there. The bathrooms were large and well-appointed, and the linens were soft and high-quality, adding to the overall comfort. The beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the home had everything we could have wanted to make our stay enjoyable.We had the opportunity to meet the owner of the home while we were there and the kindness that was shown to our group is enough to make me be a cheerleader for this property. Also, the management company was super responsive and very helpful! The peaceful location was ideal, offering a quiet retreat while still being close to all local attractions. They were in the process of finishing an outdoor kitchen and a whole outdoor area, which will be amazing once completed. If we ever get the chance to return to the Big Island, we would love to stay here again!This is a beautiful property and we made forever memories there. Thankful that we chose this place! "

"The staff was so friendly. There were lots of animals: peacocks, cats, frogs, geese. We loved it! We booked it to be closer to Volcanoes National Park, without realizing there was no road that cuts across. We had to go amidst to Hilo in order to go back down to the Volcanoes, so it wasn't the most convenient, but we loved the vibe!"

"Adam is an amazing host, and the property sits in a secluded and beautiful luscious green haven. The home is abundant with beds and places to rest your head, relax and refuel your soul. The photos do no justice as to how amazingly spacious and gorgeous this home is to fill with your family and friends. We loved the antique decor carefully placed through out the home. We made so many beautiful memories, lots of good healthy laughs, cooked an abundance of belly filling homemade meals because it’s a total plus that Walmart delivers groceries to the house, and the pool was just another great amenity to keep everyone together cool and entertained!
