I felt very safe here as other reviews have mentioned. My room was very clean and had great amenities so I recommend selecting the budget options especially as a solo traveler! My room was perfect for just me and had all the amenities i needed with microwave, fridge and 1 cup kurig. Staff was super friendly and helpful with my questions. While not a fancy hotel, this was nice and i felt safe. Nothing was broken and no peeling paint or broken tiles. No bugs. Initially, my gps put me on the side street behind the hotel. The back side does give off creepy vibes. But the rest of the property was nice and well kept. Easy shopping and restaurants close by. There is a breakfast/ lunch café across the street and a coffee drive thru next door.
