The Duke of Marlborough Hotel
"Staying at the Duke is an amazing experience. One of New Zealand’s oldest pubs on the beachfront in one of New Zealand’s oldest town. Well maintained and spotless rooms, ours had a great balcony - just the place for a G&T - before a leisurely dinner on the terrace looking out directly over the bay - with an excellent food and wine menu. Helpful, knowledgeable staff and great transport options add to the experience - free parking behind the pub or frequent passengers ferry services across the bay from Paihia. And all pretty affordable given the venue and the location."
Copthorne Hotel and Resort Bay of Islands
"Excellent location on the waterfront with newly renovated rooms."
Rayya Suites, Paihia
"Room was nice and clean, friendly staff, will stay again."
Paihia Pacific Resort Hotel
"Good enough"
Distinction Whangarei Hotel & Conference Centre
"Old and dated but the staff were excellent, they could not be more helpful if they tried. Great beds, and clean and quiet. Will stay again"
Paihia Beach Resort & Spa Hotel
"We stayed during the shoulder season,"
Kingsgate Hotel Autolodge Paihia
"The hotel was conveniently located to Paihia Wharf and nearby shops/restaurants. The rooms were fairly spacious. There was a laundry room that we used, but it could use another set of washer and dryer. Parking was free. There is a game room with an uneven foosball table, a giant Jenga puzzle, a table tennis table with rackets and ball you shared with foosball, a giant Connect 4, and a corn hole board with sacks. The staff was very helpful and friendly."
Kingswood Manor Motel
"Clean rooms nice and quiet"
Aaron Court Motel
"Studio was lovely and clean. Bed was comfortable and staff replaced our towels daily. Parking was really full. Manager on duty was very friendly 😀"
