“Comfortable room at very reasonable price including full breakfast, which was excellent. Convenient for city centre, cathedral and cricket (my reason for trip). I travelled by train so can't comment on parking. It's an old inn so rooms are not super-modern but have character. It was very warm until I had had the windows open overnight. A fan was provided but I was glad I missed the predicted heatwave a few days later. With windows open there was a degree of street noise, e.g. bin lorries early...

“Overall it was lovely but the bed was a double with two singles pushed together and our legs kept slipping in between. Also i know it was a very old building but the floor was very uneven and we felt drunk even though we wasn't which was daunting. ”
