“Beautiful property, well furnished rooms with friendly & helpful staff. While I would fully recommend the property, it was disappointing to turn up and find no availability at the spa despite staying three nights/four days. Also, the hotel added on a service charge of £10/day on checkout despite having already paid a 12.5% service charge in the restaurants & bars (which made up 100% of our bill given we had pre-paid). The option is there to take the service charge off but in my view, it is……

“A lovely rural hotel in the parish of St. Martin, about 10 minutes drive from the airport and 15-20 minutes from St. Peter Port. Located on narrow, winding roads, the hotel provides an excellent base for exploring the island. Reception is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable, rooms are nicely decorated, beds are comfortable, and bathrooms with walk-in shower are spotless. Efficient and capable staff freshen up the room each day. There is a pool and a large sitting area outside (but not in use……

“The hotel is located on a quiet location in a bay on the north of the island. The facilities are very good with a well stocked bar, a good food offering and clean rooms. The point of difference is the excellent front of house staff, all were helpful and friendly and made our stay all the more enjoyable. It might be a good 3 star hotel but it has excellent 5 star staff!”

“Great property spa and outdoor areas beautiful. We enjoyed the lounge but did not eat on property. Golf course and 19 clubhouse both excellent too with top gold driving range and mini putt. 9 pound cab ride back from town and you can walk down in about 20 minutes.”
