“Great little motel , staff was amazing and the room was clean and so comfy!!!”

“Rght on the Guadalupe with a very spacious stone deck, tables, pool, BBQ pits and beautiful trees to shade the area. Nice big grass area down by the river. Owners are very accommodating and you can tell they take pride with the upkeep of the rooms and property overall. We stayed 2 nights and had a great time meeting others staying at Horseshoe Riverside. We will be back! Thank you Doc and Wendy for a nice and comfortable getaway.”

“We loved our stay for my Bachelorette Party! The two queen bedroom was perfect for us with the best view! We loved the swimming pool & the deck area! We used the ice machine effectively as well. The staff even helped us take pictures as well. The downtown area was so close so that was perfect as well. Parking was a little tight but doable. We will definitely be back & make the Bygone our Wimberley place to stay!”

“Pool was a milky green color - couldn’t see through it and full of wasps and dirt etc.. outside on deck all other units had a ceiling fan - ours did not. The utensils were very bare - 1-2 pots and a frying pan that was very used. No spatula. Make sure to bring your own supplies and towels , TP etc… feel like it should have been a lot nicer for the price we paid.”

“Yes hot tub was nice and pool was clean just too cold to swim in this month . Enjoyed the hiking trails on the property and a short drive into Wimberly for some shopping . There’s a HEB in Wimberly too fro your groceries. Eric is the property manager and he is a very nice person! Will definitely stay here again given the opportunity. ”
