Hotel in the centre of the CBD and hence town. Clean and staff helpful. Note could be noisy given its central location.
Room and cubardes too small
Maybe not (currently) the most upmarket area and at first glance looks will deceive you. This is a well looked after classic home, that has everything that you need for a short stay. Will return if we are in the area again.
The Ascot Inn is conveniently situated, very pleasant staff and lovely gardens. It is clean and comfortable.
This is a large 1900's hotel in the centre of town opposite the city police station. Good secure free car parking to the rear. The only 2 things I was not happy with were that there were no complimentary welcome drinks (other than the tea/coffee implements - not even water) and breakfast was not included in the price. Otherwise the staff was friendly and helpful.
