"Family came to OBX for a wedding & LOVED this house rental! Clean, safe, gated neighborhood & kind neighbors. Virginia was excellent communicator & anticipated our needs. "Our stay way excellent. While the property is not on the water, access to the beach is a very close. The property was clean and their bed was really comfortable. The water was a little too cold to enjoy swimming without a wetsuit. Also, due to a western wind bringing some bitting flies it prevented hanging out at the beach. They have upgraded the lower-level bonus room with AC and heating which was fabulous! You can easily get to several restaurants and shopping places without going out to main highway - about 1 minute drive from house! Everything was ready for us upon arrival - super clean. So many houses feel like they are furnished with spare furniture and linens. This was not the case here. It felt like the entire home was coordinated and intentionally designed to provide a premium experience. "The stay was nice. The windows were very dirty. I had to clean the downstairs windows in order to see out. Dust build up on window blinds and window sills. Dust build up on baseboards. Refrigerator is very dirty. Place definitely needs a good deep cleaning. Ice maker did not work."
