Nestled between an awesome playground with basketball courts, with the Intracoastal Waterway Boardwalk and a private community beach access! This charming 3-bedroom, 3-bath townhome is ideally situated just .5 miles from delightful island restaurants, quaint gift shops, a convenient grocery store, and the iconic Surf City Pier. Found trash under furniture. Kitchen - counters filthy, oven dirty. Door locks didn’t work preventing entry when we arrived. Didn’t work again one day prior to checkout. Hose in out door shower was broken and leaking. No light in outside shower making it very dark. Washing machine leaked when used and after 2 days of back & forth with property manager, a new washer was installed. Linen package we paid for was missing several sheets requiring several more calls to the office. First 2 days were wasted trying to resolve all of these issues. One small bright spot was the cleaning staff. They were accommodating, friendly and cleaned the place. We used bed sheets to cover the LR couches for the remainder of our stay. A FOB was required to enter both the pool area and the dedicated beach access. They gave us only ONE! This was a major inconvenience; as we were unable to come and go without separately to the beach or the pool. We had difficulty with the lock on the Saturday before we were supposed to check out--either the key code was changed by accident, or the lock malfunctioned. I did feel that communication upon check-in could have been better with more of a personal touch and in person. Also, the carpets on the stairs, in particular, and the baseboards were fairly dirty. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this townhouse. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a very short walk to the beach with easy beach access. You do need a key fob to get into the pool area and beach access which wasn’t initially given to us but was resolved very quickly. Also had extra amenities which made our stay more comfortable. Great area and close to tons of restaurants and shops.
