This little studio with some kitchen amenities was perfect for our first Waikiki experience! The view of the stunning blue water was dreamy! The beach was a brief walk (2 blocks) & the access to restaurants & shopping was excellent. The finishes in the suite need a little upkeep but it was very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay here again!
We had a wonderful stay! The location was ideal, with the convenience of walking to the beach, and the pictures online matched the reality perfectly. We especially enjoyed the ocean view from our room. While the water pressure in the shower could be stronger and an extra set of beach towels would have been nice, these were minor issues. Overall, we highly recommend this place and would happily stay here again!"
We really enjoyed our stay at the Pacific Monarch! The view from the room and the open lanai was such a great feature. The location of this place was ideal, only a few blocks away from the beach, and great food spots. A huge bonus was the rooftop pool, sauna and hot tub! It was used every night!
We loved that there was a cooler and chairs (the chairs have been loved) and a very large mini fridge. Can fit lots of stuff in it. The unit had all necessary cleaning items and came well equipped with extra garbage bags/toilet paper/paper towel etc.
This is a gem of a place to stay and can’t say enough good things about the overall location and unit!
Location is excellent and the unit provided all of our needs. It is in need of some.updating. it could use a complete paint job and the bathtub refinished as some enamel is chipped and rusting. There is a grocery market only two blocks away. Only real downside which cannot be controled by thenowner is that everytime we opened the balcony doors there was always a smell of someone on their deck.smoking weed.
For me the best features of this unit. The slider opens wide, 10 feet. Makes for a real open-air feeling. Next, this unit has an ocean view filled with activity, also a sparkling city lights view at night. Another feature important to me, the unit faces away from direct sunlight all day. The kitchen is fully equipped the pillows and bed are so nice, the internet and tv service work well. The elevator is fast and the lobby people are the best...
Leaving today after a 9 day stay. Description was accurate. Of course the waybpictures are taken makesnthebplace look larger nut was still great fro 2 people.Location was pretty much in the center of Waikiki.Only negatives were the tv..whether it be the wifi modemn or what. It would pause quite frequently.And second was the AC. They need a new one. It was hard at times to stay coll and it sits right by the bed so it will blow on you all night. Otherwise we would have rated the place a 5.
We enjoyed our stay at this unit. It was clean and made us feel very comfortable. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It’s great to open up the massive windows/sliding glass doors to fully enjoy the ocean, city and mountain views, which are breathtaking! Be prepared for city sounds into the night, but that is all part of staying in the city. The air conditioning and fan were great and the blinds worked well for darkening the room. The little kitchen has enough to work with, including a hot plate for cooking. The rooftop is fantastic! Beautiful views, pool and hot tub, lounging chairs. When Waikiki beach gets too crazy it’s nice to head up to the roof for a quieter and more private retreat. The people at Midway Vacations were great for checking in with us and communicating every step of the way. If we had a question they answered quickly. Very friendly, professional and organized. The front desk staff were also friendly and helpful. We will stay there again.
It was my first time in Hawaii and I don’t think I could have ended up at a better spot. I was taking a course which was only a 2 minute walk. Every morning they have fresh lemon water for you to fill your water bottle, the room was very cute with an amazing view. AC works well, only downside is side is it blows right on you all night. Kitchen had a plug in hot plate so I was able to make myself eggs each morning and a Keurig for coffee. Rooftop has a beautiful pool and hot tub as well they have a very cool lounge area with pool table. Price was well beyond reasonable for every thing you get. Bed and pillows were so comfy, although a duvet would be much nicer for a blanket. Only complaint which is likely not on them is the wifi was very choppy and cut out a lot as well as taking the elevators some days was painfully slow, however I did notice on my last few days a pos tin the elevator saying they’re upgrading them. This location really can’t be beat! Very pleased, I spent 2 weeks here and loved every single night. I was a solo female traveller and always felt safe here. Nothing could beat having breakfast with that view, opening the doors and enjoying the fresh Hawaii air!
The communication with host was excellent. The place was clean and neat. It’s a great place for a couple to stay in offering great location close to everything- beach, restaurants, shopping. We had a great stay!
The views were pretty good for where we were staying. Communication was also clear and pretty prompt. Only thing negative was you couldn’t leave your luggage at the front desk so had to pay a hefty price tp store it and get it to the room was hard. Couldn’t leave it at the front desk.
Is a decent stay, nothing to fancy close by beach, shops, food. Other than the construction going on out side my balcony at the time, stay was good able to see the ocean just like pictured
Over all clean, staff friendly, quick check in, beautiful views of the mountains and ocean and we will definitely stay there again.

Great location....only a few short blocks to the beach. Unit was clean and comfortable. Within walking distance to many many sights and eateries in Waikiki. Would definitely recommend.
