“We stayed in Room 22. Grrat views of the beach and Weymouth Bay. Check in was easy. There is no reception, you ring the bell or call the number posted on the door. We were met by Dean who checked us in. The room is up 2 flights of stairs and was warm, but after opening the windows, it cooled down. There were no fans, but my portable fan did help at night. A full, hot, made-to-order beakfast was included. The property faces the main street did get noisy with traffic in the morning, more so on...

Central location in Dorchester with all its history & museums and some really nice restaurants in easy walking distance Also a good base if you're exploring the surrounding area. You have Corfe Castle & Swanage within an hours drive.”

“we had a great stay at the Red Lion. Amazing food. Very comfortable bed and good quality linens. But I think the staff was the key to all this success they were lovely and helpful. If only one thing I would improve is the water pressure in the bathroom. There isn't any :)”
