"All the cabines are adorables ( with no water) the only one with shower unfortunately is directly on the parking lot in front of the public shower and bathroom so no privacy . All the other cabines are more private further away in the property . "

"Really comfortable bed - I had a great night's sleep! Beautiful lodge with five rooms, lots of relaxing spaces to hang out, hot tub on the deck next to the rooms, and beautifully landscaped outside. Breakfast served on real China dishes was delicious. Enjoyed a nice visit with fellow guests. Owners were friendly and welcoming, and made check in and out really simple. I'm so glad I found this treasure for a good night's rest while I'm in town. "
"The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities that one might expect in a suite. The staff was wonderful & helpful - going out of their way both at checkin as well as during the stay. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to major roads and attractions. I would strongly recommend. And will stay again when next in Anchorage."
"Last week room had no furniture except bed and desk. Found out in true Alaska style the truck with the new furnishings for the entire hotel has yet to arrive. They are doing their best! Also excellent salmon fishing in the river across the street. Enjoy!"

"Summit Lake Lodge is a beautiful place to stay! Surrounded by beautiful grounds and a pristine Lake. It is so clear you can see through to the bottom and it offers free kayaking! The rooms are very updated but with a rustic feel. The staff is wonderful! It is a family-owned in operated place and it feels very welcoming. The free breakfast in the morning is awesome! It is a full breakfast"
"So much better than the downtown hotels we stayed in. The hotels downtown are older and run down and crawling with cruise passengers. This is a newer hotel: clean, well lit, quiet, fun, nicely decorated, nice staff, good vibe. You can't walk a lot of places and the view is of a gas station, but of the four hotels I stayed in on a trip to Anchorage, this is the only one I would book again. 5 minute drive to everything."
