May help by putting a stair gate at the top of the stairs because I missed the steps coming out of the bedroom, just managed to grab the bathroom wall which saved me from falling down the stairs, really very scary, thing I would sleep in the other bedroom next time. ##### Jean This review is from a guest who booked and stayed through a partner site and can't be verified. ### 8/10 Good #### Matthew Oct 6, 2019 #### Loved the whole experience. Overall cottage was lovely. Very cosy. Had everything you needed. TV signal was poor. Couldn’t watch some channels possibly due to wind. There was an overpowering damp smell. Was wet whilst we were there and couldn’t really open windows for fresh air as was cold so this may have made things worse. Cottage was warm and fire easy to use. Would I stay again. Yes ideal for what we needed. ##### Sharon This review is from a guest who booked and stayed through a partner site and can't be verified. ### 8/10 Good #### Sue Aug 30, 2019 #### Lovely little cottage. My husband and I recently stayed for a few days at Michill Cottage with our 3 dogs. We found the cottage welcoming, and the location was excellent as it was based in the heart of Castleton. There were lots of shops, restaurants, and pubs within easy walking distance. Most of these were dog friendly. The only complaint we had was the TV was too small, and being pensioners we struggled to watch it comfortably. ##### Hazel This review is from a guest who booked and stayed through a partner site and can't be verified. ### 10/10 Excellent #### Patricia Mar 29, 2019 #### We had an excellent stay at Michill Cottage.
