“the hotel was beautiful, lovely room and amazing bathroom. parking was difficult, the hotel us on a main road so nowhere to unload. nearest parking is above a shopping mall opposite that seems to have a million exits, i was directed to the wrong one but some not very helpful locals. i had 3 heavy bags so it took the shine off the stay somewhat. also the hotel has no staff on site so everything is keyless. weird but functional but they are available on text message and phone. there’s no food……

“Excellent location, just next to the DLR Station that 10 min to Canary Whary. Room was very clean, very good to have simple breakfast and use the kitchen. I can save much from eating outside. Resonable price for london, so do not except you can get much service. Nice staff.”

“A really comfy bed in a very convenient location for commuting into central London. The room was small but we only needed to sleep and for this price, we couldn’t ask for anything more. ”

“We had a lovely welcome to the hotel, being shown to our room and being recommended local restaurants for our trip. The room and hotel were both lovely - well kept, clean and homey - breakfast was very delightful and customer service was all round wonderful, would definitely visit again. Thankyou both :)”

“When I arrived it said there was a reception at the rear. There was nothing but a locked door. I was lucky that there was a fellow guest who could let me in and ring the manager. When I got in the room it was unmade from the previous guest, the sheets where dirty, there were bedsheets in the washbasin, dirty towels on the bed, the two towels that were folded up and put in the wardrobe were stained. The duvet smelled of urine. All in all very dirty and you'd be better going somewhere clean.”

“Carpets were dirty and tacky, bedding was stained and ripped, mattresses very old with springs very much felt during sleeping. Toilet sear cane off as was not fixed on at all. The apartments are part of a homeless scheme the council run. So the place is full of foreign homeless people. Avoid at all costs. ”

“The reception area was bright and clean. The room was large, clean, and the kitchen had almost everything I needed, except a roll of paoer towel which I needed badly. Finding the hotel was very difficult, evdn though it was on a main street and very visible. Even four locals did not know. Why? Because the name of the building the hotel is that of an old church. It is a hotel converted from a church. The hotel name was only on the glass door. And the church's name is visible from across the……
