"This house was amazing and had everything that we needed for our weekend getaway. What we loved is they provided amenities in abundance, enough linen, soaps, kitchenware, etc. They thought of everything. The house itself is very modern and well maintained. There are clear instructions on everything, which is great. They had a nice dock that you can use if you bring a boat or rent a boat, which is a huge plus. Only minor improvement that I suggest is more specific directions on how to dock your boat, especially given the low water levels in the lake."

"It I could give it 10+ stars I definitely would. Everything about the house is exactly how it shows in the photos. Lots of room, clean . Has everything you need . The owner was so quick to respond back when I had a question. Very nice . The only thing I would recommend is to cut/trim down the brushes in front of the dinning room window. So we could have a better view of the channel since it covers about 80% of the window. Other than that we were very pleased . And definitely would recommend it to everyone . Definitely would stay again"

"This house has a great layout for a large gathering. The front room has a great view of the lake at all times. If someone needs more privacy and bathroom access the back hallway is great. The game room is great for any day that has unfortunate weather. This worked well when a group of guys wanted to watch something as the ladies watched a movie in the main living room. The dock access is perfect and the outdoor space is awesome for fires, grilling, cornhole, 11 month old baby walking around safe. The garage is fully stocked with kayaks and beach toys and the kitchen has everything you would ever need to make chili in a crock pot or chicken wings on the grill. 10 minutes from walmart and south higgins lake state park made for easy access to everything. Absolutely loved the sunsets. The owners checked in the first morning to make sure everything was ok and all visitors loved the stay. Highly recommend. Thank you to Julie and all involved with the hard work in keeping the lake house in great condition! My family from New York couldnt stop talking about how impressed they were at the beauty of up north MI."
