"This hotel is in a stunning location 10 minutes outside Grazelema. We rented a car to tour and hike in the area, and the hotel is well located. The pool is lovely and views from the hotel are spectacular. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a room opening onto the garden - it was simple but absolutely adequate. A large buffet breakfast is included in the room price. A la carte dining is available throughout the day and evening, and there is a buffet option for dinner as well. We found this to be a plus as it gave us the option to dine in after a day of hiking. "

This is a quiet Country Club style hotel with a renowned and top value restaurant in a rural situation just to the east of Spain’s famous sherry producing and horse fair city, Jerez de la Fronteira. Very comfortable, quiet and peaceful stay here with the most charming staff at all levels. Only wish that we could get here more frequently. Having travelled throughout the world for more than 60 years we still love returning here ! Only breakfast buffet I know that serves a Carve It Yourself Jambon. Brilliant !"

"We stayed at the villa in early April when the wildflowers were out in force and everything was green. The views from the villa are absolutely amazing and there are several outdoor sitting spaces to take advantage of this. Inside there are 2 huge picture windows that frame the beautiful landscape. The kitchen is huge and well equipped to serve large groups. The "great hall" (which is the only way I can think of it) has a fantastic fireplace and plenty of seating, plus a dining table. The couches and chairs are comfortable. The bedrooms are all ensuite, which was a luxury, with comfortable beds and AC/heating in each. The location is perfect, close to the restaurants and shops in Puerto Serrano and within an easy drive of Seville, Jerez, Cadiz, Ronda, Arcos de la Frontera, Olvera and more. Puerto Serrano is also the start of the "Green Way" (Via Verde), a bike and hiking path that was lovely. I'll mention that some rural houses in Spain have sewer systems that cannot handle flushing toilet paper - this is one such house (you dispose of your TP in a garbage can in each bathroom). I agonized over whether to give the villa 4 or 5 stars because I truly loved the house, the location, and the outdoor spaces, but there were several minor maintenance issues in the house (bidet and a toilet not working, light bulbs burnt out, etc) that we felt should have been caught before we arrived (and I'm sure will be quickly fixed). I'm still thrilled to have rented this villa!"
