The hug point hike on the beach (found on alltrails) and in low tide, was one of the most beautiful walks on the beach!
Enjoy the beautiful surroundings at Hug Point State Park. Strap on your boots, grab your map and check out the hiking trails.

You'll be spoiled for sightseeing choice when in Arch Cape. Hug Point State Park is a great place to kick off here, but there are plenty of other worthwhile places to explore. Cannon Beach, Haystack Rock, and Tolovana Beach State Park are not far from the protected natural landscape and will round out your day nicely.

Great stay for the price and location. Elevator access is awkward - two elevators from parking to rooms. John the bellman/wine server/jack-of-all-trades was very kind and friendly. Give that man a raise! We appreciated the wine and cheese with music. Best part is location, just one block from Powell’s Bookstore!
