“Laurel cabin was perfect for our stay. my dogs loved sitting outside along the river. The scenery was gorgeous, The accommodations were clean & adequate. The owners very helpful. I will probably choose to stay in Hemlock or Sycamore next time because of no stairs. Definetly plan to stay next year”

“Great, short stay at Mike's place. Cabin was cozy and had great amenities. Host communication was prompt and efficient. Would highly recommend.Two downsides:#1 - we couldn't stay longer!#2 - dogs across the street are kind of noisy...but that's not on Mike, just the nature of dogs.”

“Great place, secluded and quiet! Cabin provided lots of entertainment and was very comfortable. ”

“The cottage was peaceful and a perfect place to send my parents to relax. The check in process was a bit odd, the cottages are not clearly marked, they had to guess which cabin was theirs and try their code. Otherwise, this place was perfect. Cozy, clean, and the hosts were quick in response and great hosts! ”

“We are a large family with a wide age range of children, and we also brought extended family along. First, the location is stunning. Even when it rained torrentially one day, we enjoyed the gorgeous mountain views without getting wet.The cabin itself was large enough to accommodate all of us very comfortably. “Great location. The road was a bit washed out but that's too be expected with all the rain. It was the peaceful vacation in the mountains we were hoping for.”

“First I’ll address the driveway.It’s steep, just as described in the description as well as comments. Our 4WD vehicle went up just fine but our other vehicle did not. It stayed safely parked at the bottom of the driveway. “This was our 2nd summer here and plan to return again next year! The animals, of course, are the highlight of the trip. We also love having a flat yard for my grandchildren to run and play. The cabin is clean and comfortable with easy access to Boone. We love it!”

“One of the best places I've stayed with my family, hands down! My kids spent most of the day catching crawfish and lizards in the creek. We got close with one of the neighbors and it made the trip a million times better. Not only did i feel at home with my kids (hard for me), but i made lifelong memories with my family.
