Pros: The services was nice and everyone was friendly here at this hotel (checkin, breakfast, checkout, and shuttle driver). I only stayed one night, but it was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was as expected for the price, no real complaints there. The hotel is located within a quick shuttle ride to the TRI airport, which is exactly what I needed. The shower in the room was actually pretty nice, it was an enclosed shower in my room (not a tub) and the shower itself was roomy. The AC/heater unit is at the window and easy to use. Also, if you do not have a car, you can walk to the gas station/subway for food and beverages, and also a little further there's the Wendy's or Cracker Barrel restaurants across the street (be careful crossing that street though, it is a highway).
Cons: the hallways were a little stuffy from previous years of cigarette smokers. Carpets were in good shape but older patterns. The door handle to the room was a little tricky with the key (I quickly found that I had to lift up to then push down and open the door). No plastic cups for the juice machine so we all were using coffee cups for that. But I think I'm being picky with these cons here. I am a Platinum Marriott "Bonvoy" member because I stay at their hotels half my life it seems At least half of the year, but I'm starting to cut down on them. This hotel (the Sleep Inn) in the Choice Privileges chain at the TRI airport was not a disappointment, I would absolutely stay here again.
