Nice hotel spoilt by the sheer noise of all the party revellers who are using the place as a crash pad

Staff were really helpful in solving an issue outside of management’s control (construction drilling noise in nearby building), and moved us without delay. Fantastic property, very clean, exceptional balcony, large room, and a well-sized communal pool. Would recommend!

San Karlu is an excellent hotel. The location is perfect and Republic Street is just a few minutes away. The hotel is located off a road down a wide alley so you can get a taxi to very close to the hotel and the street is very safe and well lit at night. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spotless when we checked in and cleaned thoroughly every day. The room we had looked over the courtyard/alley below. Breakfast was good quality. The best feature of the hotel was the rooftop pool. We were there in September and it was very hot, so the pool was wonderful and appeared new (also very clean and well maintained). It really made the hotel worth the five stars.
