Can Rovey, pool and gardens in Inca 'Can Rovey' is a wonderful villa, a country house that breathes harmony, tranquillity and wellness. This property is located in the heart of Mallorca, between the towns of Inca and Muro, in a very quiet area, with the constant presence of the mountains of the Sierra de Tramuntana and the faint breeze that comes from the dozens of beaches that are just 20 minutes drive. From the first moment, Can Rovey inspires us with its presence and aroma. Its luxurious and ubiquitous gardens, delicate pool with Jacuzzi, the strength of the typical Mallorcan stone house that give us a warm welcome. All these elements make Can Rovey a special spot, a cozy place, designed for enjoying and opening the senses. That can be perceived from the very first moment. Can Rovey has two buildings. The first is a stone house, located next to the parking. It is the entertainment area, where surely you will enjoy much part of the day. Here we have a huge kitchen and a garden with BBQ . There is also a bathroom with hidro massage shower. A few meters ahead we find the spectacular swimming pool. It is delicate and cozy. The pool is surrounded by lawns and gardens with fruit trees. The pool also features a waterfall and an integrated jacuzzi. The atmosphere of this place, the sound of the water coming down the waterfall, the birds ... it's just magical. This is just the best place for sunbathing in the hammocks, to feel the paradise, to have a lovely sunny breakfast or a magical night at the outdoor dining area. Hammocks, sunshades, an outdoor table all them will help us spending unforgettable evenings. The huge garden adorned with a towering palm trees leads to the main building, a huge house, centennial, typically Mallorcan, that has been renovated with care. There, we will be received by an spectacular second garden and a porch with a huge wooden table. From here we access at the living which is huge, cozy and warm. There, we find the sofa area next to the satellite TV and WIFI zone. A few meters behind we find the indoor dining area next to the second kitchen. The first room of the house is found on the ground floor. It is a double Bedroom with an special majorcan taste. Outside the room, there is a cozy family bathroom. An stairs will take us to the first floor where there are three other rooms. On the right, the main double bedroom, which is a huge room with a double bed, air conditioning, overlooking the gardens and an exquisite bathroom with hidro massage shower. Across the corridor we will find the bunk bedroom and the twin bedroom with air conditioning. In total there is place for 6 people. Right there, it is another bathroom with a jacuzzi. All spaces of this house are open with windows that take us over and over to the gardens, to the swimming pool and their porches and open areas. Wir waren mit 2 Familien dort. Viel Platz um sich mal so richtig auszutoben oder um die Seele am Pool baumeln zu lassen. Super war, das es 2 Küchen gab und man sich somit aussuchen konnte wo man den Abend verbringen wollte. Danke auch für die tolle Kommunikation. Wir mussten nie lange auf eine Antwort warten. Sep 27, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location #### Toller Urlaub mit kleinen Makeln Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Finca Can Rovey. Die Finca liegt ungefähr im Zentrum der Insel und etwa drei Kilometer entfernt vom Stadtzentrum Inca. Sie liegt abseits von allem Trubel und man hat komplett seine Ruhe. Der Pool ist ein Salzwasserpool, der Außenbereich ist sauber und gepflegt. Empfangen wurden wir vom ausschließlich spanisch sprechenden Besitzer, der gerade noch etwas an der Elektrik am reparieren war. Im Nebenhaus war eine gut ausgestatte (Outdoor-)Küche. Hier wurde uns frisches Obst, ein Brot und Schinken und Käse zum Start hinterlassen. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür. Auch im Haupthaus war alles sauber und gepflegt. Ein paar Sachen sind uns dennoch aufgefallen, die nicht unerwähnt bleiben sollten: In der Küche waren leider nicht alle Geräte brauchbar. Der Toaster war kaputt. Außerdem war das Gewinde vom Mixstab ausgeschlagen, sodass dieser ebenfalls nicht brauchbar war. Wir haben uns dann unsere Allioli von Hand schlagen müssen. Ja das geht auch, ist aber sehr mühselig. Die Poolbeleuchtung startete erst eine Stunde, nachdem die Sonne schon untergegangen war und ließ sich nciht von Hand steuern. Dies war etwas schade. Die von Hand einschaltbare Beleuchtung für die Sitzecke des Pools, startete lediglich eine Art Baustrahler, der zwar alles beleuchtete, aber doch etwas grell war. Wir halfen uns dann mit Kerzen und der übrigen Beleuchtung des Areals aus. Hier könnte man mit relativ kleinem Aufwand beispielsweise die vielen Palmen noch von unten anstrahlen und das tolle Rosenbeet beleuchten. Die Wohlfühlatmosphäre würde hierdurch nochmals enorm gesteigert. Die Dusche im Masterbedroom (weiß mit Massagestrahlern), die auf den Bildern zu sehen ist, ist leider aktuell defekt. Weder kommt dort Strom an, noch ist der Wasserdruck brauchbar. Lediglich ein sehr dünnes Rinnsal an Wasser kommt aus dem Brauskopf. Schade, wir haben dann einfach eine der zahlreichen anderen Duschmöglichkeiten genutzt. Die Beleuchtung in den Bädern könnte generell ebenfalls nochmal überdacht werden. Rasieren ist dort schwierig bis unmöglich. Nebenan ist ein Bauernhof mit Ziegen, Hühnern (welche auch schonmal auf das Finca-Gelände ausbüchsen), Pferden Hunden und anderen Tieren. Hierdurch gibt es generell eine Geruchsbelästigung und vom Geruch her ist es Urlaub auf dem Bauernhof. Leider kommen von dort auch etliche Fliegen, Mücken und Bremsen und bedienen sich gerne am Menschen. Alles in allem haben wir uns dennoch wohl gefühlt und kommen sicher wieder. ##### Marc R. Stayed 10 nights in Sep 2022 From a partner site ### 10/10 Excellent #### Thomas Jul 25, 2022 #### Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit perfektem Garten und Pool Bereich Der Garten und Pool lädt zum Verweilen ein und bietet viel Schatten und Sitzgelegenheiten für jede Tageszeit und für jeden Zweck. Auch gibt es einen Ping Pong Tisch und eine Dart Scheibe. Die Gegend ist eigentlich sehr ruhig. Die Einrichtung ist etwas altbachen ist aber sehr sauber, gut unterhalten und absolut genügend, mit Klimaanlage, Küchenaussstattung, Alarmanlage, Safe usw. war alles vorhanden, was benötigt wird. Auf der einen Seite ist ein Bauernhof, der sehr viele Hunde hat, die die ganze Nacht bellen. Am Tage waren sie selten zu hören. The pool area and gardens are lovely and the property has the wow factor on arrival and beds were comfortable. The owners gave us some eggs as well as some basic provisions on arrival and altered timing of air con so our daughter could have her nap in the cool. Overall accommodation needs a deep clean and maintenance. Fix broken appliances (oven, showers, toaster) and ‘refresh’ and better organise kitchen areas. Basic equipment like pool net missing and cloths/basic cleaning provisions not provided. There needs to be instructions and more information on arrival e.g the fact there is a safe which we didn’t find until 2nd week and what to do with rubbish (we only knew as we have been to Majorca before). Die Finca ist einfach perfekt: die Lage - ca. 5 Minuten von Inca - entfernt auf der Inselmitte und somit perfekt für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen. Der sehr gepflegte Garten mit dem herrlichen Pool sind einfach traumhaft. Die BBQ Küche ist perfekt, da sie direkt am Pool liegt - Grill und alle Möglichkeiten zum Kochen/Backen/Waschen/Bügeln sind vorhanden. Im Innenhaus gibt es 4 Schlafzimmer, wobei das eine mit einem Hochbett ausgestattet ist (für kleinere Kinder nicht unbedingt geeignet, da Absturzgefahr). Die 3 Bäder haben teilweise Dusche bzw. Whirlpool- Badewanne und sind perfekt sauber ! Wohn- und Esszimmer im Haus sind etwas dunkel und im ganzen Haus riecht es etwas muffig, aber dafür hat man halt ein echt mallorquinisches Haus. Auf der Terrasse gibt es eine Tischtennisplatte (Schläger hatten wir allerdings keine gesehen, daher selbst mitbringen). Alles ist super sauber und gepflegt und die Bilder im Internet zeigen genau, was man erwarten kann: ein herrliches Anwesen und toller Umgebung ! ##### Angelika K. Oct 12, 2015 #### Great, quiet place to relax The pool area is great and there are four separate dining areas to use, the owners left fruit and wine for us, the house has air con and is rustic and in good condition, the tv has german satellite programmes, there are four kittens that scrounge for food and we are lucky that our kids adopted them but other visitors may find them a pain, the property also has cctv and a remote locking gate so is very secure and you can relax knowing the children will be safe. ##### john w. Very well equiped, although the ad did state the house had a dvd player which it didn't, but not really a big problem. The double bedroom dowstairs was a big dissapointment for us, very small and had to climb over the bed to get in, no wardrobe or bedside lights and it really let the house down, especially compared to the size of the en-suite double upstairs. The main kitchen was empty, but the BBQ kitchen was great and well equiped. Lovely place to socialise with friends, sat by the pool at night eating. Some wood for the wood oven would be great, even if it was an extra charge. Don't go there expecting a "hot tub". The pool basically has a little seating area with some jets that blast out cold water. I'm sure it would be great in summer, but as we stayed there the last week of October it was a bit of a let down to find that the hot tub didn't live up to it's name. The area is great, with lots to do, although we did have to find where to go by ourselves as the house did not have a single brochure, map or any other useful information about the area, or indeed the house. A few notes on the bins/bottles/recycling procedures would be handy and maybe a folder with interested places to visit/best beaches/restaurants would be great, but the wi-fi was great so google helped us out. The owners were lovely, providing us with fresh eggs, a nice bottle of wine and a jar of amazing tuna, caught by the owner himself.( Gracias) The cats (possibly the owners) were annoying at times, generally around meal times, but as we all liked cats and they were very friendly, we just tried to ignore them Overall the place was good, let down by a few very small things that probably wouldn't bother most people. The best beaches are 45mins away, which is a shame, but we'd definately consider staying here again. ##### Andrew C. Wir hatten einen unglaublich schönen Aufenthalt in dieser sehr sauberen und gepflegten Finca. Die Vermieter wohnen direkt nebenan und sind sehr sehr nett, sie haben sich rührend um uns gekümmert und geholfen wo sie nur konnten. Eine Glühbirne wurde auch Samstags abends um 21h noch flott ausgetauscht :-) Es war alles wie beschrieben, nur eigentlich noch schöner als man es sich dadurch vorstellen konnte. Die Finca liegt aber nicht wie in der Überschrift beschrieben am Strand sondern wirklich mitten auf Mallorca, ca. 10 Fahrminuten von Inca entfernt, bis Palma und Alcudia fährt man je eine knappe halbe Stunde. Aber man möchte eh nicht nochmal fort, wenn man einmal hier angekommen ist !
