"Overall, our stay went well. The staff was great! The property was nice and the condo was generally nice but we do have a few things we feel could have been better. When we entered the condo, there was an overwhelming scent. It wasn’t a bad scent, but it was synthetic. We had to open windows and air the place out. The condo was nice and clean with the exception of the bottom of the shower where it met the glass. That was pretty nasty. We were disappointed to find out upon arrival that the workout facility was closed. They were also doing repairs on the stairs outside of our condo so they could not be used. I feel there was plenty of availability. They could’ve put us in a different room."

"What can I say, this was one of my best VRBO experiences ever. We stayed in the cabin "Joy" and it was a joy. It was very clean and inviting and dog friendly. I appreciated the fenced in yard for my puppy to be able to run loose. It was magical having the miniature horses come by for pets. The hot tub was great when the cool weather came in and out host, Greg, was very responsive helping me go from air conditioning to heater. He also assisted in extending our stay one more day. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and full size appliances were a plus. I will definitely come back to City on a Hill!"

"Check-in was fast and easy room was very clean and ready even though it could use an update it was very clean housekeeping was daily and was very pleased. The bed was quite comfortable especially for a Budget motel very pleased. Breakfast hours were great typical breakfast with waffles, yogurt, and cereal again very pleased for a Budget motel a much better breakfast than your typical grabbing go at this price point, they could use a new coffee machine, but not complaining at all. Pool was very very clean."

"This was the second time we stayed at the Hampton Hotel in Kerrville. We even got the same room. The housekeepers were great, making sure we had enough towels and supplies and answered our questions. I feel very comfortable staying here and looking forward to future visits."
