Seriously, just so nice!
We really loved our stay at the cabin! We felt so welcome and at home, we didn't mind having to stay because of the rain. Literally anything we needed was provided! Its in a great location! Not too far from International Falls, but also close enough to Kabetogama to make it an easy drive. April, you knocked it out of the park for us! This was the break we needed to recharge and remotivate. Thank you so much!!

Great stay
The place was great! Stocked with toiletries and food. The beds were comfortable. We only spent one night but had a good stay. April was so nice and when we forgot a laptop behind, she was on it right away. Would stay here again

Perfect quiet getaway!
Owner made us feel well loved and taken care of! We wanted a quiet getaway, it was perfect on a river, a fire pit, canoe(was cold and didn’t use, but was available). I would absolutely stay here again!

Very pleasant experience; clean and stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Only downside was the train activity nearby, but with some music in the background it wasn't very noticeable.

Very comfortable and would stay again
We stayed four nights on our trip to Voyageurs National Park. This location was perfect for day trips to all three visitor centers where we departed on our boat tours. As a bonus the Rat Root River is in the backyard! There was a Wilderness canoe and paddle boat provided for our use. We took the canoe out as soon as we unpacked. Our trip exploring this river was beautiful and peaceful. We took the greatest picture of a beaver lodge on our second canoe trip. The unit was very cozy and welcoming. It was supplied with everything you could possibly need. The host reached out to us several times to ask whether we needed anything. She was always available. There is a train track nearby and to us that added to the charm. We were very comfortable and would stay again.

The cabin is super cozy and spacious. April is very helpful and kind throughout our stay. We have to change the dates due to challenging weather conditions and she patiently worked through the situation with us and remained super flexible. Would definitely recommend!

Then property is very close to International Falls. Everything we could imagine was provided from food to supplies to entertainment, such as a paddle boat. We would stay again if we’re ever in the area.

Convenient and clean! So well stocked!
The pictures on this listing make it look pretty sketchy. It honestly is so much better in person. The tanning bed, treadmill, industrial hood, etc are definitely odd but the place was clean. The bed was comfortable. There were clean linens but there were also so many additional things! The kitchen was stocked great with everything you could need. Bacon, eggs, fruit, etc. They even had extra razors and toothbrushes! Check in was easy and the host was responsive via text. Although there is no internet we had fantastic service (Verizon). We were only there for one night but they had games in the closet and some books available. If you’re going to the national park this is a great spot. We would totally stay again if we were in the area!

Winter trip with friends
My 3 friends and I had a wonderful experience staying at this property for a winter hiking/board game trip. Everything was clean and check in/out were very easy. The host was wonderful and extremely responsive. She left bottled water, k-cups, and food for our stay. When we asked her a question about the fire pit, she had someone dig the pit out for us, set up the wood for the fire, and offered to light it for us. When we declined, she left a blow torch so we could light it ourselves
