"It was comfortable and clean. Big space for a large party. Beds were good with fresh white bedding. Large rooms. Lovely old original features. Breath taking views. Quiet places to walk. Plenty to do in the area. I would recommend. Some updating perhaps on bathrooms. But still doable. We will visit again "

"Beautiful spot in the countryside with a wee stream running behind the cottage, very peaceful. We booked as 5 adults, Hotels.com simply stated 2 double beds and 2 single beds. Did not say that all but one double bed were in the same room… so my husband and 24 year old son had to take one room, and sleep in a double bed! And us girls had to take the other one. Assumed there would be 3 bedrooms? Anyway, nice stay. Think Hotels.com should mention only enough wood and kindling for one heat, so had...
