The hotel staff was very friendly and professional. We received cookies and water upon arrival so that was a plus, especially with my kids! The hotel lobby was and surrounding areas was very clean, parking was $24 per night but that wasn’t a surprise because it was clearly disclosed on the fees section before we booked. Our overall stay went well, the pool was simple and nice, pool area wasn’t as clean as we’d hope it would be as you could tell no one had wiped down or cleaned the tables and chairs, lounge areas, and the fire pit was never on in the evenings.
Here’s my rant: upon arriving back late to our hotel from sight seeing and dinner, I was getting ready to to put my kids to bed and as I was pulling the sheets down preparing the bed, I noticed not just one but SEVERAL stains on our bed sheets, blankets, pillows. I was so disgusted and although the sheets may have been washed, the hotel should do a better job at making sure not to put stained sheets back in circulation. I called front desk and they were quick to send someone up to give me replacement sheets and blankets, but I had to set them all up myself. Housekeeping services also never came to our room to change out our towels or wipe anything down, or change our trash. I had to do all of that, as well as chase down housekeeping to request for towels.
Due to Covid and this being our first trip out in a very long time, I was hoping for a much better experience, especially with the Hilton brand.
