It was early season but the pool was already open which we enjoyed. We didn’t hang out around the fire pit but could tell the ambiance was great. Late nite, we sat downstairs in the lobby area which makes this property what it is- unpretentious, relaxing and accommodating. We had a little issue worth our room and were gladly moved to another (larger) room by staff. Don’t forget to go across the street for pizza and cocktails !

Everything with the room itself was great. It was clean and in a great location. My issue with this reservation was the amenities. They are not inlcluded. So even though the listing says they have pools and hot tubs, don't expect to be able to use them unless you pay more when you get there. This should be made clear to anyone that books at this resort.

"The property is in terrible shape. It is in desperate need of repair and refurbishing. The sheets on the bed were smelly and we wondered if that had even been washed. My wife was itching all night and woke up with multiple bug bites. The pillows appeared very old and did not even have proper pillow ..."
