"The U-Shuku Inn was conveniently located to convenient stores, restaurants and small markets. It was also about 15 mins away from the Fushimi Inari Tasha Shrine. I definitely would stay there again."

This place is amazing! I stayed here with 4 other people and it was perfect. There is plenty of room for more people but since there is only one shower you’ll need to make a schedule for bathing if you are bringing a larger group.
Check in was a little confusing. I was told the keys were left in the mailbox ahead of time but the sign on the door asked us to contact the property before we entered. When I contacted them all they said was the keys are in the mailbox. I assume it was a google...

Clean, peaceful, and conveniently located near subway stations for easy access around Kyoto. The simple café and bar downstairs were a nice touch. I really enjoyed the local atmosphere—less touristy than areas like Gion or the busy streets around Kyoto Station. A highlight for me was dining at Yakiniku Hayashi, a fantastic local BBQ grill just down the street. The food was so delicious that I went two nights in a row! Plus, the staff was incredibly friendly.

It states "Hotel" through Expedia but it is more like authentic vacation home. Great for two people, heating was spotty, great Tea room and smoke area in back patio.
Very close to Inari Shrines and JR station lines and a 3min walk from a grocery store.

There were some stains on the bed skirt (looked like lipstick) and some dust between the sheets. But overall very clean. Front desk was availabile 24hrs and were very helpful and resourceful. Very nice and big room.

The hotel is near subway station Jyujyo, and it is only 2 stations’ distance away from Kyoto.
Seen afar, the hotel is elegant and delicate in decoration, which makes me expect a lot before entering it.
Being in the hotel, the broad hall which combines the characteristics of Japan and western countries makes me feel comfortable.
As it is a new-built hotel, the rooms are extremely clean and tidy, and the bed is also very soft, so I am satisfied for the one night’s stay without any...

My only complaints is the WiFi was extremely unreliable and would constantly cut off, and I wish there was a way to cover the sunlight from entering the bedroom in the morning. Other than that, I did love everything else about it and do recommend it. it's a whole house basically, definitely oversized for what I needed but no complaints there. Cold ac, too cold. Other than the wifi everything was great.
