We booked this hotel because we were visiting friends and wanted to be closer to the air port on the last day. The staff at the front desk were a bit cold. The room was alright. Clean yet utilitarian. The bed was good. The restaurant was the problem. We are not big on hotel restaurants. But it was very hot and we were tired. I’m not snobby and I give the staff some grace. This was bad. We were a table of four and came fairly early. There were only two other tables. The waiter who was very nice but untrained. The wine list and menu were very expensive. It took some 15 minutes to come to our table. We ordered rose wine for the table. We didn’t want it to be sweet. The waiter left for 10 minutes later with a room temperature bottle. He couldn’t open it and we had to ice it for 20 minutes to make it cold. We ordered our food. Two people in our party were Brazilian they did the most of the communicating. The dining room got busy. Our food took 40 minutes to come and they brought the appetizers and entrees at the same time. This was strange. The food was substandard for the price. My risotto was cold and pasty. My friend had ravioli that was cold and dry plopped on the sauce. The other people in our party were not impressed either. No one came to check on us. We had to get up and find someone to get our check. The hotel has been there for 10 years. The bugs should have been worked out.

A decade of excellence, though rooms could use a refresh I have been staying at the Delmond for over ten years, and the service remains consistently excellent. The staff is wonderful, the valet service is seamless, and the overall experience is always high-quality. Room is clean and nice. The amenities here are great—the restaurant and breakfast are both highlights of the stay, and I always enjoy the gym and the nice pool area. The rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable; however, they are starting to feel a bit dated after all these years. While everything is well-maintained, a modern refresh would really bring the guest rooms up to the high standard of the rest of the hotel. Still my go-to choice after a decade!

Well located, nice staff, and very kind attention with the afternoon tea set... but our room is starting to be old and needs a serious refresh (not anymore at the level of the photographs at the time of booking).

O lugar é lindo e bem cuidado! Ambiente totalmente familiar, respeitoso. Pessoas gentis, cuidadoras e muito educadas, senti como se fosse uma extensão da minha casa. Sou reservada, gosto de ler e estar em silêncio e lá, isto foi respeitado. É um ambiente família mesmo, se a intenção é descansar, relaxar a pousada é o destino certo, se quer só passar o dia, pescar e relaxar um pouco da correria do grande centro, pode ir tranquilo. As pessoas são atenciosas e cuidadosas com a gente. Se pretende viajar sozinha, lá é o ambiente perfeito e se quiser ir com a família também é um otimo lugar! totalmente respeitado
