My stay in the King Sea View Room at The Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah was exceptional from start to finish. Got an upgrade to the Executive suite which was fantastic! Thank you. As expected, it was very quiet in the hotel due to Ramadhan. The spa facilities are for men only. I understand, however for such a grand hotel it would seem reasonable to have 2 spas for female/male or alternatively different times? Morning / Afternoon for male/female and alternate? No pool or anything else. 2 days was plenty. Rooms, foyers, everything was grand! They set up the smaller club area for all hotel guests breakfast as there was only a small number of guests at the hotel .No other hotel amenities/ entertainment/ classes.

I stayed for one night at the end of a business trip. I was in need of a rest and this hotel was just what I was hoping for. I arrived well before check in time, but was shown to the room right away and was given a room upgrade. The next day, my departing flight was in the evening, and when I asked for a late checkout I was allowed to have the room until 4pm, no questions asked. The staff was outstanding- friendly, helpful, professional and did everything possible to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. This was my first time in Saudi Arabia and I feel I got a sense of the famous Saudi hospitality. As for the hotel itself- it’s palatial! The room, bathroom, facilities, dining experience, etc are everything you would expect from a Ritz Carlton, ie, excellent. But for me, it was the staff that made this hotel special.
