The room we had was charming and looked out over the Russian River, big paned windows and saltillo tile floors. Generous fridge, hand painted tile floor in the bathroom floor chairs to sit in and watch the world go by. Breakfast was excellent, in the little restaurant. Large property with a creek at the back.

No one mentioned the treacherous stairs leading into into the bathroom. Try that at night when the light switch is in the bathroom which you can only get to via the stairs. Very expensive (as other properties on the coast are) for very little return.

The location of the dinner Inn to the mouth of the Russian river into the Pacific Ocean was amazing. We Kayak for two hours in the Russian river saw lots of seals and ducks and bird life. It was magical. The weather was perfect. We got a great weekend for weather The surrounding restaurants and business businesses are very good and friendly staffed We spent an evening in Monte Rio, where we listen to really good live music and danced late into the evening Guerneville only 24 minutes away which makes the whole area for wine tasting amazing we went up the road to Fort Ross about 15 minutes to 20 minutes. Drive up highway one off a road called Myers road to a Fort Ross winery, which had a amazing view high in the mountains amazing views of the ocean when the Fog is not rolling in the food and wine were excellent.

Nice place and nice location. But very thin walls and when a car parked in our spot and then was idling from 445 am to 5 am we didn't get any more sleep. When we asked the manager why that spot isn't for the room we were we were immediately given an odd and defensive reaction and were told we were staying in the cheapest($200) room and that we should have contacted her...at 445 in the morning! Not sure how to do that since the staff was all gone at 3 pm night before. Not sure why if you're in the least expensive room you don't get to ask questions about the parking. Oh well...live and learn. We won't be staying there again, too many nice places on that coast to be treated like that.

What a pleasant surprise!! Beautiful part of the California Coast and we had a whole cottage to ourselves with an ocean view! They could use a Wi-Fi extender.. that's the only criticism.

We rented the Waterfall cabin. It's a lovely summer house probably from the 1920s. Very private and quiet with lovely vegetation. Be advised that access to this particular cabin is via several outdoor stairs, so don't pick it if that would be a problem for you.
