Weird place. On the water, I knew. It’s a bunch of houseboats, I learned. Nice rooms, 5 per houseboat, with an unfortunate twist: bed upstairs, everything else downstairs. Inconvenient if you have to get up in the middle of the night. A steep and narrow staircase connects. It’s hard to reach (cars can’t go there), over poorly maintained footpaths. Directly behind is a loud carnival. Breakfast is a coupon for a restaurant next to the carnival. Food is fine though.
