Excellent Hotel, but Front Desk Needs Improvement Our stay at Tower Park Savassi was overall very positive. The hotel is pleasant, and the restaurant staff were exceptional—attentive, courteous, welcoming, and genuinely committed to excellent customer service. Unfortunately, our experience at the front desk was disappointing. There were no smiles or warm greetings, and little effort to make us feel welcomed. We asked if anyone spoke another language besides Portuguese but received no clear response. During our check-out, one staff member placed his phone very close to my mouth to use a translation app. We understand the usefulness of technology, but the interaction felt impersonal and uncomfortable. In the end, I used my own Portuguese to complete the check-out. The front desk is the first and last impression of a hotel. Speaking several languages is not essential, but warmth, patience, professionalism, and a welcoming attitude require no translation. It is unfortunate because the hotel itself is very good, and the restaurant team demonstrates excellent hospitality. We hope management provides additional customer-service training to the front desk. Sadly, this experience makes us hesitant to return, although we sincerely wish Tower Park Savassi continued success.
